HONDA CBX 1000Z

My bike was featured in the summer 2021 magazine, page 25 lam looking to sell it more as an electrical project for someone who can sort charging problems, in 16 years of ownership t have covered just over 1000 miles Every attempt at a ride out results in me heading for home as soon as possible. The furthest I've ever ridden the bike was the first time I rode it other than getting an MOT, was to the Oakdene Cafe, Wrotham Hill, club night, where I first met Garry Bristow, Steve Courtney and one or two others Steve Cosine has been of great help in the past, stripped and rebuilt the carbs and assisted greatly with the Kawasaki ZX alternator replacement of the OE generator and suggesting using a USA Odyssey battery. This worked briefly very well till the bike voltmeter only indicated 12V only (battery) and stopped charging. All the lighting world, yes, the clutch rattles, but the engine sounds and runs well, no off leaks. The swing arm has needle roller bearings, not bushes and has been re-sprayed by a previous owner. The ignition is worn, but works, but a replacement switch would cure that. Everything else is in reasonably good, pretty much unmolested condition considering its age and number of previous owners. I do not have sufficient knowledge, tools or workshop facilities to do the bike justice and I am sure there must be someone out there that could transform the bike to the standard it is worthy of-looking at what others have done, when reading the magazine, which I enjoy I have no idea what the bike is worth in its current state of not charging. I was thinking of asking for £7000 and if there is any sign of interest, I will happily part with any information I can about the bike-no cover ups (I know honestly doesn't pay, so i probably not do myself any favours!!

HONDA CBX - C, manufactured 1982, Millage 18,355, in Pearl White, with the original full fairing and panniers and grab rail (I believe making her a -C), all standard and no alterations, with original exhaust pipes in very good condition. When I bought her from Bonanza Trading Post I believe she was imported from the USA at some point [either by them or after they acquired her] as there is still a Road Tax or such like from Rhode Island in USA in 1993 (on the end of the tail fairing).

I bought it from Bonanza Trading Post in Kent in 1995. I might still have the receipt (I am not sure, after numerous military postings my records and folders are all over the place). She has / is well loved, but not well used due to my military career and postings overseas, when she was stored appropriately. As a consequence the genuine millage of 18,355 is I believe very good for its age. She has been serviced during my ownership professionally but as I say stored during some overseas postings and more recently following my health issues. I am now no longer able to ride following two strokes and I now have a back issue. Following recent servicing and carburation over haul she runs well. She is polished to make her shine ready for sale. There is some 'blooming' on the Rocker Cover and one or other cover but at 44 years old can perhaps be understandable. So she is not what I suppose is Concourse Condition but I believe close to A2 condition as such. Other than that there are no issues. She is all standard with the addition of a Honda Clock that is a Genuine Honda Part with the appropriate color match to the clocks and colour scheme. And as I say the exhaust pipes are original and good, these are not a cheep cost to replace as I am aware from my membership of the Honda CBX Owners Club.

SUZUKI GSF 1200 S Bandit K2 , manufactured in 2002, Millage 15,760

SUZUKI GSF 1200 S Bandit K2 , manufactured in 2002, Millage 15,760, in metallic midnight blue, original installed full fairing as standard, original exhaust pipes. She has additional accessories of a rear rack, heated handlebars and a 'Pyramid' rear hugger - but I have the original chrome chain guard. Also serviced recently and stored similarly to the CBX, [Breeze block and tiled roof unit not an ISO Container! -showing the unit storage conditions in the Overall Bandit picture attached.] She also runs well and polished up also. There is a 'scuff' on the R/H/S fairing that requires minor filling and painting. You may wish to advise me as to whether that is better repaired before sale or left as original?- This is following me falling over on my rental unit drive way. I had not checked the tyre pressures, and she toppled over whilst I was sat on her and could not hold her up due to my back & R Leg health issue. I have replaced the indicator but not attended to the scuff - filling and painting etc. beyond polishing and waxing her - see picture.I have the original Suzuki Bandit owners manual.

1984 Suzuki Katana 750 GR71AD

German model, owned by me whilst in Germany since the early 1990s. Imported in 1996 and now has UK registration and V5.
Modified with 4 in one exhaust, rear set rests, pod type dual seal and non-original paintwork.
Possible to return to original spec, will require seat, exhaust system and paintwork. Will then be very collectable.
Various minor parts also with bike, including spare silencer for current system.
Not ridden for several years, was running perfectly at the time. Very quick machine.
