 MIDLAND SECTION NEWS LETTER Hello fellow midlands members I am writing to you to let you know what events are coming up this year. First just like to thank all of you that have supported this section over the last year. We all had a great time in what we got up to in the unexpected good weather we had like Skegness Ireland rally and the bikers retreat week end all made for another memorable year thanks to you all. We are planning some similar events this year but mindful of financial restraints as the economic environment holds for us this year. 2011 we are thinking of doing more ride outs than fixed events so thing will be sporadic and weather permitting so the schedule are as follows: MCN Skegness APRIL date to be confirmed Miner’s standard Matlock camping MAY week end weather permitting Saturday to Sunday ride out around cat and fiddle and snake pass back to Matlock Yorkshire rally MAY date to be confirmed Biker retreat week end Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd JULY £140.00 accommodation and all meals escorted ride out great value week end (FULLY BOOKED) Lake District b/b trip week end 21-24 JULY venue to be arranged Graeme and Gaynor Helsby are sorting the venue and ride out for us Trip to Northern Ireland AUGUST 26th to 29 or 30th stopping at Ian Foster’s b/b seeing some of the great sights and open roads in the green country UK rally SEPTEMBER north east coast to be advised on date and venue Carburettor balancing School and valve shimming school around March to April keep an eye on the forum for days for it to be held Finally we are looking for SUB reps to help out in this big area of the midlands Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire, south midlands Stevenage/north London, and southeast midlands Cambridge/Bury ST Edmunds/Norfolk for more details contact me.
